Is Vev's POS software for opticians free to use?
Yes! With Vev's optician system we want to make starting a optician business as easy as possible; that’s why you can use the standard version of the Vev POS for free. Allowing any optician to do unlimited sales with their optician business.
We do offer Vev+, a paid version of Vev. If you are just starting out then you won’t need its features, but they might come in handy as your optician business starts selling more and more advices. In fact, when you reach that point getting Vev+ is probably a no-brainer, when you don’t want to do a lot of admin at least.
Vev+ unlocks automatic tax reports, access to advanced client data, and a bunch of other other things. But, again, the regular Vev POS will always be free.
Can anyone start a optician business with Vev?
Yes, and we hope that everyone that wants to do so. Vev is built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, with the idea of helping everyone to build their dream optician business without immediately going bankrupt.
