Take debit or credit
Let Vev also handle the payments for your nail salon. Securely connect with Stripe to accept any type of online or offline payments with your salon. Popular methods for debit and credit cards such as Apple Pay, Google Pay are supported.
You can use any device you own as long as it has an internet browser. When you have an iPhone you can soon use Tap to Pay on iPhone.
Refunds are built-in
Depending on the cancellation policy of your salon, clients can also get a manual or automated refund when needed.
Scan to Pay
A QR code will pop up on your screen to let clients pay with their own device. Nail stylists can then accept payments for the full amount, or settle the remaining balance if they already paid a deposit via Vev. For iPhone we also offer tap to pay.

Is Vev's POS software for nail stylists free to use?
Yes! With Vev's nail stylist system we want to make starting a salon as easy as possible; that’s why you can use the standard version of the Vev POS for free. Allowing any nail stylist to do unlimited sales with their salon.
We do offer Vev+, a paid version of Vev. If you are just starting out then you won’t need its features, but they might come in handy as your salon starts selling more and more manicures. In fact, when you reach that point getting Vev+ is probably a no-brainer, when you don’t want to do a lot of admin at least.
Vev+ unlocks automatic tax reports, access to advanced client data, and a bunch of other other things. But, again, the regular Vev POS will always be free.
Can anyone start a salon with Vev?
Yes, and we hope that everyone that wants to do so. Vev is built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, with the idea of helping everyone to build their dream salon without immediately going bankrupt.
You do need a name, and an idea of what manicures you want to offer for sale. If you need help with that, you can dive into the Vev Academy for help every step along the way. Guiding you from setting up your online nail salon to getting your first sale to selling out every day.
What payment methods are accepted with the salon point of sale software?
We work together with Stripe to facilitate payments, one of the biggest payments providers in the world.
Because of this your salon will be able to accept almost any form of payment. Apple & Google Pay, debit & credit cards, Ideal, Bancontact to name a few.
And if you are not sure whether your clients’ favourite payment method is supported, just shoot us a message and we will happily help you!
Can I set my own order policies?
That is completely up to you to set up.
We did fill in some things based on how we saw successful nail stylists before you do it, but you are completely free to change everything in line with how your salon operates.
Order deadline, refunds and cancellations are your domain, you know best how you want to run your salon.
