From your reservation page customers see exactly when you have availability. They can schedule their appointment, but also book extras you might have in store. To combat no-shows, you can ask for a deposit or require payment in full.
Customers get an automated email after they book their reservation. If your policy allows it, they can reschedule or cancel if needed. Schedule an automated reminder email to prevent no-shows, and an automated email goes out afterwards to thank them for their visit with an invite to book again.

Easy payments for all
Just like the big apps and businesses out there, you can accept payments to confirm reservations. Slots are reserved for 30 minutes, giving customers enough time to enter their payment details. Rescheduling is easy, and the same goes for refunds.
No extra device is needed
All you need is a phone, tablet, or computer screen. Customers can scan a QR code when you allow them to pay on the spot, and complete the transaction on their own device.
As flexible as you
You decide if customers pay in full, or a fixed amount or a percentage as a deposit. You can also take payments outside of Vev if customers prefer to pay in cash or you send invoices. Just manually mark orders as ‘Paid’ in that case.

Is Vev’s reservation software free to use?
Yes, the standard version of Vev is and will always be free to use. Every business deserves the best software out there, not just the big companies.
We do offer Vev+, a paid version of Vev. If you are just starting out then you won’t need its features, but they might come in handy as your business grows. In fact, they are probably a no-brainer for any entrepreneur not wanting to do a lot of admin.
Vev+ unlocks automatic tax reports, access to advanced customer data, and a bunch of other other things. But, again, Vev will always be free.
Can anyone start a business with Vev?
Yes, and we hope that everyone does, too! Vev is built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, with the idea of helping everyone follow their dream without immediately going bankrupt.
The only thing you really need is a name for your business and an idea of what you want to do with your business. This helps in picking the right template, which pre-loads a default price list and helps you get started even quicker!
And yes, of course you can edit the price list to your liking, as well as the colors, text and images of your page!
Can I use Vev’s reservation software from anywhere in the world?
No matter where you are on the planet, you can always count on Vev. All you need is an internet connection and you will be good to go!

How do my customers make a reservation
They can easily make a reservation from their phone or laptop on your online page.
With Vev you will get your own online destination and a link to reach it. Share this link with your customers wherever makes sense (social media, website, mail) and have your customers reserve by themselves.
They can select ‘what’ they want to reserve and then select their preferred time slot for this reservation. The system will only show time slots that are available.
What are the steps for changing or canceling an existing reservation?
That depends slightly on who’s doing it. You can always go to your dashboard and change or cancel a reservation, both you and the customer will get a message on the edit.
Your customer can make edits to the upcoming reservation from the link in their order confirmation email. But, only to a time that you find acceptable. No need to reserve something for the reservation to be canceled last minute.
How far in advance can reservations be made, and what is the latest possible time to reserve?
Both are completely up to you as the business owner. On the setting page of your dashboard you can alter both ‘rules’ with maximum flexibility.
You can already accept reservations for years in the future, or set the latest time to reserve to 1 week in advance. Whatever works best for your company!
Do I receive confirmation of a new reservation?
Yes, each time a reservation is made by either you or a customer both parties will receive a confirmation email in their inbox. Then, shortly before the actual reservation, your customers will be reminded once more to reduce the risk of people simply forgetting.
You will also always receive another email if any edits are made to an existing reservation. Everything to have you stay on top of your game!
